Natasha linhart from the export summit in GREECE

Natasha Linhart, CEO of Atlante, which is a strategic partner in the large-scale distribution sector with a workforce of 100 people and a turnover of 215 million euros, was the guest of honour at the ninth edition of the prestigious Export Summit held in Thessaloniki in Greece.

It is an annual event organised by the Greek Export Association which includes the Hall of Fame of Greek export protagonists which honours and rewards the most virtuous and successful partners.

In the session dedicated to the world of food, two major companies were awarded. Natasha Linhart of Atlante who was present at the Summit as CEO received the honours in the presence of 200 participants attending the event and 700 plus who were watching the event stream live, Natasha testified how Atlante represents Greece in Italy today.

“Greek yoghurt in Italy - said Natasha Linhart CEO of Atlante - is a highly successful segment: it is worth 16% of the total yoghurt sector and grew by 5.7% last year. We are one of the main distributors of Mdd Greek yoghurt and we serve the main organized distribution retailers, thanks to the collaboration with Kri Kri”

The success of Greek yoghurt has also driven entry into the frozen world: since 2020 Atlante has been present in the Italian large-scale distribution with an innovative proposal of 100% Greek yoghurt ice cream.

2022 was a successful season for the ice cream category for Atlante with growth of +38% in value and +29% in volume for our range of pots and sticks.

In 2023, the Greek yoghurt biscuit ice cream will also be launched: a novelty for the curious and Greek yoghurt enthusiasts, which completes the range and intercepts the growth trend of ice cream biscuits.

“In 5 years, we have jointly launched 115 new products, divided between 8 MDDs, 2 fantasy brands and the KRI KRI brand, which can be found on the shelves of supermarkets and retailers throughout Italy. Together with our Greek partners we have developed new flavours, introduced lactose-free options, innovated formats and brought successful novelties such as Greek yoghurt ice cream to the Italian market!”
